Need Help - Sophmore at a non-target

So here’s my situation. I’m a sophomore at a non-target school and my overall GPA is a 3.4 (Major GPA 4.0). I’m working on a BS in Econ and a minor in accounting. I couldn’t land an intern this summer and pretty upset about it. Basically I need advices on what to do this summer and in the future to help me get into IB. Would anyone recommend pursuing a MA in Econ, if worst comes to worst? Any advices would help

I don't think you have too much too worry about, because you're only a sophomore. Do something meaningful this summer, summer abroad or work at any have decent company and take some easier non major courses next semester to boost your GPA. I don't think you need to start worrying about a masters or anything yet. Good luck.

I've thought about it, but don't have the money to pay out of state tuition or go to an ivy.
