Networking for Sophomore Programs
Sophomore at West Coast semi-target applying for 2023 programs. The one I am actually grinding and networking for is a decent name, but weak US presence, bc no shot I'm getting a big name as non-diversity. I've been cold emailing people, mostly Analysts/Associates, and the response rate is pretty shit.
Curious if the community thinks it may be because I'm emailing outside of normal recruitment season months. Talked to 2 analysts at the firm and they both had very little knowledge about the sophomore program, maybe that's part of why people aren't responding? Should I mention I'm interested in the sophomore program in the email so they know I'm not retarded and emailing 6 months before junior SA recruitment season starts?
