Nontarget chances at for management/strategy consulting at Big 4
I go to Ohio State where I major in Data analytics. I have a partner reference, a 3.84 GPA, two previous data analytics internships at notable consumer banks, a 1510 SAT, am involved in the leadership of a consulting club, and have started a major organization at my school. I heard from a recruiter that regardless of those things, coming from a non target school, I'll have a hard time getting an internship in the management consulting arm of a Big 4 firm and a near impossible chance at landing within their strategy division. Are there any ways I can improve my chances past improving my GPA? I would love to work in management consulting, so, if PwC's not going to work out are there other firms worth exploring...knowing I have very little chance at MBB.
