Off cycle internships 2019

As a second semester senior with no job offers, I am starting to look at off cycle internships. Honestly, I dont really know much about them and would really appreciate any type of information. What firms offers them to seniors and what the process look like. Is it super competitive etc. If anyone has gone through the process or going right now, any tip would help.
