Prop. firm

Hello,

I recently had a phone interview with a prop. firm named International Trading Group LLC/DE trading. It is a privately held proprietary trading firm in the northern suburbs of Chicago. This firm has been around for about 12 years. There are 100 employees and about 75 of them are traders. They pay $30,000 per year as a starting salary and you keep 50 % of the trading profits you make. You are allowed to draw the money out quarterly.

I have been out of school for about 5 years and am currently working as an Engineer in Seattle, WA. Although, I would prefer to break into the trading arena by working for some BB firm, it appears that might be too difficult.

Given the stats mentioned above the prop firm, please let me know what the firm is offering is a good deal relatively speaking. Also, let me know if there are any further key questions I should ask the firm.

Thanks very much.
