Should I get an Internship This Summer?
I accepted an SA 2024 offer at a lower middle market bank think (Stifel, KeyBanc, Truist) and am more than happy to work with my offer as I am a nontarget.
But I was wondering, should I try to get an internship this summer in case I want to end up lateraling to a bigger bank later? I could get an unpaid internship this summer at a local boutique if I really wanted to.
If not, what should I try doing instead? Maybe something that shows I tried to stay involved over the summer?
In this market, i would try to get both a summer and off cycle internship. The more experience the better. Wish I knew that sooner
