Hello WSO,
I just recently joined the site myself and thought that I would get the introductions out of the way. I am from studying at Temple University on the East coast and I am majoring in finance. At the moment, all i know is that am interested in Finance but not which industry. I'm still trying to learn about all of them and find out which one is right for me. I hope to learn a lot from this site and the community as well as learn how to break into the finance world.
Try the vault guide on the various finance careers. It's google-able, though a little dated.
