US Job Market for an expat?
During the 2008-09 economic crisis in the States, I decided to head East in pursuit of new financial opportunities and dip my toes in the the pool of emerging markets that promised big pay outs and golden Lamborghini's. While the experience has been great, and I am still driving a Mazda, it's time for this expat to come home. As I begin my re-entrance in to the US job market, I am wondering if my expat experience is an added value, or creates nice tales at happy hour? I am getting mixed reviews from my network about competitiveness, compensations, etc...and wanted to check in with the financial community for their take. Thoughts?
