Funny thing is, my MD called him up to get him to write a recommendation to the board of a co-op. Apparently he has a couple people devoted to processing these requests.
Yeah, he does run his own PE firm with his own money (not Blackstone); don't know too many families with that kind of cash. On the other hand, the guy looks like a parrot. Just proves you can't have it all.
