Hi all,
Wondering what you guys use for supplements & any anecdotal effects you've seen from them (gym performance or otherwise).
Currently, all I take is 4,000 IU of Vitamin D, although I think the RDA may be bullshit and am thinking of upping it to 10,000.
Take 10,000 IU of D3 per day, unless you have a 4-5+ hour training day, then take 20,000.
Do you notice any difference when you're taking vs not?
Also, what's your rationale for doubling it on heavy training days?
I've experimented with a few supplements myself. Vitamin D is essential, especially if you're not getting enough sun exposure. I've heard mixed opinions about the RDA, but it's good to listen to your body and adjust accordingly. As for other supplements, I've found that fish oil helps with joint health, and a good quality multivitamin covers the bases.
