What are my chances at transferring to Cornell/USC/Georgetown?
I'm currently a freshman at a West Coast Private and I am in the process of transferring. I'm just curious what you guys think my chances are at transferring, as I know some members on WSO have had previous experience with the process. Here are my stats
College GPA: 3.93
Credits: 17 fall, 18 spring, 10 AP
HS GPA 3.33 (Terrible freshman and sophomore year, over 4.0 senior year)
ACT: 29
Recommendations: Great, teachers at my uni love me, have two so far may go for 3
EC's: Nothing amazing, couple clubs, one business oriented
Essay's: Solid
Intended Major
USC: Marshall
Cornell: Econ
Georgetown: MSB
Pretty solid shot - I would apply to at least 10 schools in order to hedge the risk.
I considered doing so for awhile but I concluded that I'd be fine staying at my current school for another year. It isn't necessarily a high risk maneuver as I have another year to transfer if I fail this year.
Just finished Medici today, great show
Quality show - Robb Stark makes a killer banker
