Why Nordic people are so normal/boring ?

I was in Norway for the last 2 weeks, as everything seemed perfect, after a week it gets so boring. Yes, there is no crime, poverty, loud noises, weird people but this is not normal. Like everything is too normal. How people live in these countries ? I checked every channel on TV while I was resting in the hotel room and on avarage Norwegian news last about 4-5 minutes, and then they show boat travel, nature and animal documentaries.

While walking in the streets every car started to stop a mile away when I was getting close the crosswalk, and maybe I had one or two direct eye contact with someone while walking in the street. I have been to Japan too, but in Japan things aren't like this, this is fucking different. I used public transportation most of the time, and no one sits next to the strangers, if there is 2 seats, one of them is always empty.

I met some guys at the pub, and we talked about everything really. It seemed like they don't have any career/financial passions to follow and work hard for. They just want to work 6-7 hours, walk, watch tv, go to restaurants, and do small vacations at mountains. How can they spend 70-80 years like doing these ordinary things ? How is that even possible ? If I work 6-7 hours a week I would fucking feel guilty and useless.

100% agreed on this. They need more vibrant diversity and should ramp up their African/Mid-East refugee resettlement program. Where's the fun in drunkenly stumbling around an urban street on a Saturday night if there's no real threat of being robbed or killed? Who will shave meat off of a stick and put it into bread without Syrians? The news is boring without excitement. What's more exciting than an Islamic radical driving a Truck of Peace into a crowd on Christmas Eve?

European countries need to learn to be more multicultural. Hopefully someone out there (or a group of people) will help them with this.

At least they aren't the swedes.  Imagine being neutral in WW2....talking about being beta cucks.  At least the Norwegians fought hard AF.  Sweden and its people lack a spine.

Sweden fought with Finland against the Soviet Union, unlike Americans, who allied the Soviet Union. Talk about cowardice.

I think you envy these people, whether you want to admit it or not. People there live a comfortable life, (one of the highest homeownership rates in the world, $20 minumun wage), can raise their kids safely, and enjoy the simplicity of life. I feel sorry that the media has made you such a consoomer that you get genuinely annoyed when ads aren’t shoved down your throat on TV 24/7. You think everything in life is about work and sucking the dick of your boss so he can get 20x richer than you, and when you see people enjoy hobbies outside of work you think they are fucking useless. Seems like someone visiting from a hellhole saw a blink of what the good life looks like and got so furious he needed to write a rant on WSO to cope.

Deriving your self-worth from how many hours you work for other people is good shit.
