Best Jobs Pre-MBA OUTSIDE Of AM/IB/MBB?

Similar post in 2016, but didn't get much love.

What are some cushy jobs that are offered out there in high finance *besides *your typical asset management/ibd analyst/mbb consultant? I'm talking entry level straight out of undergrad.

I've seen things like valuation analyst, risk/credit, strategic finance analyst, advisory associate, etc. on LinkedIn going to top business schools.

What exactly are these roles, what kind of progression is typical? How is prestige/exit opp/MBA placement? I would like to know what kind of roles someone gunning for IB could look into as an alternative. Preferably, jobs that are known for being solid and placing into M7/T15 MBA programs.

Another great insight would be how selective these roles are, and how to best go about recruiting for them - I'm assuming technical knowledge requirement varies widely when preparing for different sorts of these roles.

Ex: I saw some Deloitte CF M&A guys on LinkedIn, but can't find anything online regarding recruiting/pay/exit opps, or even job details.

Thanks ahead, +SB for help.
