What are exit opportunities from Underwriting analyst position?

I work as a underwriting analyst at a fintech company that essentially provides an online platform for quick access to capital, similar to a Lending Tree. I'm worried that there aren't many exit opportunities and I don't want to stay in underwriting my entire career. Has anybody transitioned out of underwriting to other roles or have insight on the topic?

Probably need a little more detail. I’m assuming we’re talking consumer lending? Is it very process oriented? If so, try to improve that process in some tangible way make sure mgt recognizes you for it. If you’re not getting much out of the job try to go above and beyond expectations. Stick around and volunteer for special projects.

If you do that I’m sure you could branch out in some way. Especially after a few years and a promotion or two but it might require getting a little creative

Yeah its very process oriented. I only started 2 months ago and am thinking I should get out. Prior to this I worked at a financial advisory firm. Do you think it would look bad to leave after two months? I just feel like this is a dead end and ideally I'd get back into banking or consulting
