Accepted a top offer, now what

Hi monkeys,

I was just fortunate enough to be extended a formal internship offer at one of the top funds.

Even though I did send thank you notes to everyone in the process after interviews, I was wondering if I should send another one now to let them know I have accepted the offer and thank them again.

Also, since there're still a few months before the start, I was considering trying to keep in touch with the interviewers. I talked to several associate-to-VP-level and two ED-level interviewers. Should I do that and if yes, how?

Thanks for any advice.

For what it's worth, I do think it's a nice thing to do, but don't bring Nespresso capsules to the office (or wait for the partners to get home). People working in finance have this weird obsession with being cool, calm and collected so you don't want to be taken the wrong way if you do something nice and with the best intentions.

The most common way of showing appreciation would be to bring something in when you're in the office (having started your position). During my internships I would always bring in something on my final day to thank them for having me.

You haven't even hit the desk yet, so until that time comes it may be a bit premature to bring presents into the office. However, you could ask to meet up with some of your future colleagues within a month of starting, where you could express your excitement and gratitude for joining!
