Family Office Recruiters?

Does anyone have a view into the typical recruiting path / gate-way for family office roles? I'm currently a VP at a multi-strategy PE firm that is looking to mix it up a bit after ~10 years of the same grind, and am going to be relocating geographically in the coming months. Looking to bring some reasonable work-life balance back into my existence and currently thinking that a family office type role could be a nice transition. I presume that a lot of it is likely direct networking with existing FO team members at potential firms, but would be curious if anyone has additional insight into how that transition and recruiting process might look.
