MF PE vs BB/EB IB -> Exit Finance

If someone was going to spend 2-3 years after college in finance and had a choice between analyst roles at a MF PE or BB/EB IB, what would be smarter as far as experience for exiting finance after said time frame? Which experience would lend itself to opening more doors in varying industries? Not a troll, would like to hear opinions from folks who have transitioned themselves if possible!

Thanks.

Perhaps something in tech, but not really sure (I know that's painfully vague; apologies). What if corp dev was potentially the goal? Which of those choices would be more favorable?

I had a similar choice for FT between an MF PE program and a top BB/EB IB return offer. Ended up choosing IB for the exact reason that I am not sure if want to stay in finance and haven't regretted it since.
