Navigating transparency with PE Recruiters
Are PE 3rd party recruiters allowed to ask you which other firms you are interviewing at - when you've already landed the interview from an internal referral? Why do they ask? Is it a fair answer to say that you don't want to share without being dinged?
There's no law against them asking, but you'd be retarded to tell them.
