PE Portfolio Operations - from MBB vs MegaFund REPE AM / Portfolio

Hi all,

Was wondering what would be best to break into a Portfolio Ops team at a MF (KKR Capstone, Oaktree Ops...) : MBB or a REPE AM team at a Megafund?

From my understanding Generalist Portfolio Ops and REPE AM both do reporting, stakeholder management, operational improvement with the management of portfolio companies, but MBB does have a more "generalist" side.

Anyone has insight on this?

Thanks so much
