Real Estate Private Equity (Post MBA)
Hello! I am about to begin my MBA this fall in NY, focusing on real estate. My background is in structural engineering, and construction/project management. I'm interested in learning more about REPE and how to break in. I've heard of people doing a summer IB internship as a way to build credibility before recruiting for PE full time.
Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or experiences.
Dream job would be involvement in a firm that focuses on interesting value add projects in great cities (think: buying a warehouse in brooklyn and turn it into lofts or something like that...)
