had a friend do this. she didnt know what she was getting into when she got the offer. so i think ppl understand. just epxlain why you cant do the job anymore because you dont like the idea of doing it anymore

As a recruiter …of course we will still work w you! We get better then anyone how insane the market is and you guys getting 3-4 offers at once means you can’t afford to dismiss anyone. Keep at it; no one is surprised by anything these days.
That's a first, I have a friend who works at CPI/Amity/DSP and she told me that if a candidate were to renege they won't work with them again because:
1) HH lose $ on that candidate (since they didn't end up placing the candidate)
2) While a bit unfair to the HH, it hurts the credibility of the HH shop by the firm that hired them
