I don't know why everyone shits on credit but I think GSO is the move here. It would truly open up a ton of opportunities for you in terms of credit funds.

Where have people been shitting on credit? Most on this forum arent that interested in credit but I havent seen shit talk on it. In fact, there are a bunch of good threads regarding the space.

No because I dont really like credit. If I did, then I would. What are you interested in? You havent given any details about your goals/interests

Interested in MF PE, but credit works hand in hand with sponsors and screens for similar type of companies, plus they have equity stakes. Is there anyway I could intern in GSO and recruit for FT PE Analyst?

Only do it if you think you are ok staying in credit (not saying you'll be stuck here forever, but you should join only if you think it is a space you could see yourself staying in for a couple years). So if you're already thinking about interning at GSO just to recruit for PE analyst roles, I probably wouldn't do it. Also GSO has a ton of issues and would not be where I would be joining.
