Current Market Compensation for acquisition analyst in LA metro?
Any one can share some insights on the current market compensation for acquisition analyst with around 1 year experience in LA? What would be considered as a good comp package in the current market? Would appreciate any insights.
bump
Unfortunately the answer is it depends (based on AUM, asset class, hours worked, and shop type amongst other things)... but judging on the latest comp survey data on this site ( search for the google doc), I think that avg comp would be in the $65-85K with a target bonus of 15-20%
where is the google doc?

Idk man, salaries have been bumped quite a bit so probably $100k base with 20-100% bonus depending on the firm? Assuming sizeable funds and transactions
Edit, basing this off conversations with recruiters last year
1 year experience $100k w up to 100% bonus is extremely high for any place in the US. Nowhere near the average
Yeah bonus probably closer to 50% but $100k base is reasonable. $200k all in should come at like year 3 but probably depends on the firm
