How have you been proactive?

Hi all,

I am wondering what are the types of things you have done across your desk from file  management to deal sourcing - that has allowed you to stand out or get a win?

e.g. I created an automated pitchbook factory - essentially generates ppts. with the click of a few buttons.

Depends on your role, but I will say what really adds value down the line is knowledge more so than your ability to build spreadsheets. Not saying what you created isn't useful especially as a analyst, but I wouldn't lose sight of learning from people with experience in asset management, acquisitions, ect. I'm in acquisitions and learning what leadership looks for investments, what should be negotiated in LP/JV/Operating agreements, or diving in and understanding DD docs is useful so they trust you to bring a deal in and lead it to execution.
