MetLife Real Estate Equity Senior Analyst
I'm interviewing for this position and was hoping for some insight if anyone is familiar with this team (WLB, Comp, deal flow, asset classes etc)? It would be based out of the Dallas, TX office. Thanks!

Nothing on comp here. But, they work on interesting deals across the asset classes. From my interactions, they seem like sharp people who are easy to work with.
@OP, Saw a few other job postings from them. How did the interview go? Any intel?
Had an interview earlier this week with the internal hiring manager. Feel free to PM if you have any questions, although it was pretty high level.
I worked with one of their regional offices on the debt side a few years ago. WLB was great, comp was okay ($85+ 30% target). They have something like $100B in AUM between debt & equity so they get solid deal flow. Very steady job without crazy expectations. That said, they are definitely very set in their ways and I got the “sleepy lifeco” feel when I was there. Also, it definitely feels like all of their investments have to fit in a specific box. I think it was a great stop for my career and I wouldn’t change my time there. I think it’s a great landing spot as a senior analyst, however the culture isn’t the best long-term option for everyone.
