Student Housing - Goldilocks Distance to Campus
Intuitively, I know that the closer a student housing project is to campus, the more desirable it should be. Does anyone have any data to support this? I'm curious if there's a maximum distance "limit" student housing should be proximate to the campus. My guess would be anything above 1 mile away is certainly too far for super class A student housing. Any insight, examples, or data would be great. Walkable college towns/cores is what I'm specifically talking about.
5-10 minutes waking distance to campus is maximum in my opinion.
