I am a VP at a MM PE fund (~$500m AUM). MSF is confusing for recruiting. I would still recruit you as an Analyst (no credit given for a masters vs a bachelors). I would be concerned (though I am not an expert and I think time will tell) with how MBA schools will receive an application of someone pursuing a masters in business after a masters in finance. All this being said, if you have a non-technical background and are struggling to get traction with a job in the financial sector (and that is your goal) then an MSF may be your best bet for getting interest. I am curious how BB IB recruits from MSF programs.
