Please help me spin the IT on my resume
Hi guys,
I've devoted a good 6 years of my life to pursuing computing as a career. I never really put much thought into it, as I was always above average with computers, it seemed natural. I could do it, but I can't say I was ever massively excited by it.
I recently finished interning at Credit Suisse in an IT division and while I was there I got a chance to speak to some Directors and VPs in the Fixed Income Division. The brief meetings I had with them and discussions I had with other people in the bank, as well as my time on this site, has made me want to try and pursue a career in either Structuring or Trading.
As it stands, my resume absolutely screams 'IT guy'. Could anyone please help me spin my experiences into something more appropriate to improve my chances in either of those divisions? Thanks in advance.
PS: I realise the stuff I wrote for my experience in my university Investment Society is grasping at straws, but I have very little finance stuff to write about.
