What does Investment Banking Business Risk Area involve - First year Uni student trying to land a summer internship

Hi, I'm a first year University student trying to get a summer internship at JP Morgan. I need some information on what Investment Banking Business Risk Area involves and the skills and motivation required for the jobs. I have some of my own ideas but I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Also, what type of information do companies (JP Morgan) like to hear as to why you want to apply to their programme and not others. What research would you advice me to do?
