"Early Advantage" / Diversity Fellowships worth it?

Attending an M7 school in the fall. Currently work in a niche area of finance, but looking to pivot into investment banking. I'm a "diversity candidate" (female) and received an email the other day about an MBA Early Advantage program at a bank. Seems like the obvious upsides are tuition money, securing a job early, avoiding the hassle of recruiting. Downsides to me would be committing to something so early. And while I'll certainly take every advantage I can get, I don't love the optics of being hired just because I'm a girl. Any insight/experience/thoughts would be appreciated!
