Gap year or Msc Degree after undergrad school

i’ll complete my undergrad studies on september 2024 and i was wondering what’s the best move going forward.

What are the pros and cons of a gap year used as a tool to better myself and improve my cv.
For example taking tests such as Ielts, Gmat, certifications, learning a new language, learn to code, doing internship related to the field of interest and so on, in order to have a better shot at target universities.

Or is it better to go straight to Master’s degree even with less experience and a weaker profile after undergraduate studies and maybe not getting into a tier 1 school but finishing academic career one year before?
