Master in Corporate Finance - SDA Bocconi

Does anyone know anything about the Master in corporate finance at SDA Bocconi (Italy)?
I'm wondering about entry competition and whether it places well in London, but any other information would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Althought I belive Bocconi to have a great reputation in Europe, and from what a read about this programme on Bocconi website it seems to have interesting subjects, I belive you would be better served by LBS Masters in Finance, if London is your relevant market.

Fairly good placement in London, at least with the BBs there are always a few guys from Bocconi in the incoming classes. I heard that though many more seek entry positions in London and comparably only a few make it. Great for placement in Italy obviously. If you have good internship experience and studied somewhere else in Europe or the US before you should be able to get an offer in London from there.

"too good to be true" See my WSO Blog

Places very decent in London. I have met alums from Bocconi at all major BBs so you should be fine. Entry is competitive but definitely doable, especially with a high GMAT and an undergrad degree earned outside of Italy.

The Bocconi Master in Corporate Finance is good, but I would recommend the Bocconi MSc Finance over it. It is more rigorous and more well-regarded than the SDA Master in Corp Fin and places very well in London. I know loads of kids from the program with IBD and S&T SA offers (for this summer) with all the major BBs

edit- warning though, the program is very difficult and will be a miserable 2-year experience

cheers

It depends what you are looking for. Theoretical knowledge is fine, but if you want to know about career services, the program is a joke: they will not help you to get an internship as they are not interested at all. They only care about getting the money and giving you the classes. Find an internship is your problem. I would never recommend this program

I would not recommend you the MCF as Career Services does not exist for this program, although they will never admit that.

I did the program and I am totally dissapointed as they did not assist me at all.

Hope this helps

Finding an internship is your problem with every program at Bocconi. The program itself is fine and will get you interviews.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
