MBA from Olin Business School - Washington University - International Student
Hi All, I am an International student going to do MBA from Olin Business School - Washington University and hoping to work in US post MBA. I have 2 questions :
1) What is the reputation of Olin in US?
2) What are the job prospects at Olin for International Students looking to work in US.
Kindly help !
Thanks!
Shouldn't you have given that thought before enrolling?
Regional b-school in a well reputed university. Mostly mid-west jobs nothing spectacular. You can get IBD in Chicago if you work really hard, I guess. But as Matrick said, you should have done your research before.
Olin is ranked at 21st position by US news 2017. Do you think Olin is a top 20-25 B school of USA? How would you compare it with UNC Kenan Flagler? Pls advise.
For MBAs, KF has more opportunities at top consulting firms and in IB. If you want other jobs, then its an "it depends".
I think UNC is better program. Olin probably has a more well known parent university. Job opportunities coming out UNC would probably be better but beware that you are international, I think WashU is more well known internationally then UNC so if wanna go back to your home country maybe that might be more relevant but still I would go for UNC tbh.
Sounds like Olin will be ashamed to have taken you. You seem to not have a brain, so wake up please!
