MSF Chances with 3.61 GPA
Hey, I was wondering if someone would be able to tell me my actual chances of getting into a semi-target msf program. I graduated from a no-name school, called Lipscomb University out of Nashville, with a Finance major and a 3.61 GPA. I am also sitting for Level 1 of the CFA in June. I have been an analyst at a small consulting firm doing M&A's for a year and just took a job at UBS in the middle office since I won't be going to grad school until next year. I have not taken the GMAT yet, but I am being realistic and not expecting anything worse or better than low to mid 600's. I know I don't stand a chance at a target school, which is why i'm shooting for a semi-target. Some of the schools I'm considering are Illinois, Vanderbilt, Michigan, UT Autin, UCLA, USC, Villanova, and Indiana. If I could get some feedback on if I'm setting the bar too high/low that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
@TNA" is the expert here but I would say pretty good at all of these, and would even consider Nova and IU to be safeties.
Disclaimer: by pretty good at all of these, I mean you will likely get into 1 of these. not that you will likely get into all of them.
