Post-MBA Opportunities with Pre-MBA BB IB (1 year) + Tech (1-2 years)
Hello everybody!
I'm currently an analyst at a top BB (GS/MS/JP) and just finished my first year here. I'm also in the very fortunate position of having been admitted to Stanford GSB deferral program. I recently received a Strategy Analyst offer from Microsoft (the role doesn't involve any investment responsibilities).
I'm struggling between:
1. Take the Microsoft offer and work for 1-2 years before heading to b-school
2. Stay in BB for a bit longer (3-6 months) and wait for megafund PE opportunities
**Post-MBA career thoughts: **I'm open to various career opportunities post-MBA - PE, L/S, growth equity, VC, or corp development, but want to stay in west coast cities.
Please also feel free to let me know if you have any questions about the application to Stanford GSB. Would love to help out as much as I can!
Thank you all!
Apparently on-cycle is about to start in the next month or two, so might as well stay on and recruit for MF PE.
