I am a PT MBA student at Babson graduating this upcoming May. My background is in SaaS sales and wealth management operations. I want to eventually join a Growth Equity firm as an investor and have been exploring Banking/Consulting to gain experience and eventually move. Since I was working during my education I haven't had any internships. Any tips on highlighting my coursework and my work experience to help my candidacy with full-time MBAs with internships? Thank You

I'm doing my part time MBA at Stern right now while working in a renewables group for a bank. The advice the career center gives is to lean into your experience. I'd love to get into private equity someday and the advice they gave me was to look for PE firms that have a focus in either renewables or sustainable finance because obviously my resume will show that I have a renewable energy finance background. If you have a background in software sales, then look for firms that have a focus in software or tech. That way your resume and experience will be more relevant to what the firm does.
