Internship at a Boutique shop. How to write on the Resume ?

I have done a couple of investment related internships at small (3-4 partners and 5-8 analysts/interns) no-name firms. Got excellent exposure and learnt a lot. Since they are not as well known as Sequoia and all, should I mention on my resume what they do, AUM and that they are based in the valley etc.?

I have observed that analysts at small shops have considerable responsibilities and autonomy compared to analysts in large shops. So, in your opinion, an average position in a large company or a really good decision-making position in a small company is better.
