CPA for trading

Hi,

I am an accounting major in a 5-year program expecting to get my CPA in 2025. I have a S&T internship in FI lined up for this Summer.

My question is, as a Junior with two more years left, do you think adding on a BA in math as double major will be useful if I wanted to take on more quantitative roles in the future? The course load is going to be pretty tough and I don't know whether my efforts will pay off.
