CRB Commodity Yearbook
I was interested in checking out the latest version of the CRB Commodity Yearbook but it appears that the Chicago library system does not carry it. To buy my own copy costs $150. Clearly this is unreasonable for a layperson. Are there any other books with similar information that are cheaper / more likely to be carried by my library? Alternatively, are there any other ways to get access to this book (e.g. cheap international editions, etc.)? If so, I couldn't find anything.
I have the 2009 one. The book is mostly data, with a few written bits thrown in as well as commodity descriptions. You can download a lot of the info online if you know where to look (or a Bloomberg terminal will have a lot of it as well).
Why exactly do you want the book? Just to have as a reference?
I'm reading Jim Rogers' Hot Commodities right now and he mentions it as his bible. I'm looking to learn more about commodities investing. No Bloomberg unfortunately.
