Is it possible to move from a trader at an options market making firm in Chicago to a bulge bracket in NY?

Title pretty much says it all. I'm starting out of undergrad working at a quantitatively oriented option market making prop firm in Chicago (pretty reputable name) and I'm trying to assess my options in the future. Would it be possible to move to trading at a BB at any point? Not that this is necessarily what I'm 100% set on doing, but I'd like to know. Would a more quant-oriented hedge fund eventually be possible?

Is it the type of thing where it's if I do well enough I'll have my choice, but if I don't there's no chance?

Option MM in Chicago is a great career, but I'd really like to move home to the East Coast (NY or Boston) within the next 3-4 years.

Thanks in advance.
