Prospects in Structuring in 2013
So I have a summer internship offer in Structuring from the likes of Citi/JPM/Barclays.
Structuring seems really interesting but I'm a bit worried about job prospects going forward.
I'd appreciate if someone could give some insight into the relative strengths of the above banks for structuring. I know JPM has been pretty good for credit but is that still the case today?
Also what are the chances of converting an internship in structuring these days? Is it close to zero or similar to sales and trading?
