What kind of internship for that kind of goal(s)?

Well, it's been some months that I browse this resourceful website and I should say, I need some advices.

I'm an undergraduated student in a Msc in finance in a target european business school, I am president of the finance association, wrote dozen of financial analysis invested in stock markets. I am a writer for a headhunter (I write articles about finance, economics, etc.) and I already wrote an economics handbook for uni students (vulgarized theoretical concepts -think Black-Scholes//French-Fama//neo-keynesian & neoliberal theories-, level = freshman/sophomore). I've also been accepted as a spring intern (HSBC/DB/Nomura).

I am deeply attracted by everything touching macroeconomics & financial markets. So I prospected for a year everything about commodities (supply-chain, producers, big players, etc.) and finally wrote a working paper about hard commodities in subsaharan African countries. That being said, I've to make two internships (6mo) starting this summer and frankly I've no clue what to do !

I networked for 6 months and talked to +/- 250 traders in commodities on LinkedIn, from Traf to hedge funds and had great insights about that job, but the entry in this world begins with graduate programms (so, me after the gap year) and it is well known that banks are closing their commodities desk because it required too much funds for too few returns and high risks, so I am quite bothered by this trend. Some traders can put my resume on top of some piles but it ensures nothing for an eventual internship.

So (sorry for this long introduction), what could I do in order to gain some experience in the commodities area or anything linked to macroeconomics (currencies, swaps etc are interesting) to break into that field?
Do you know some jobs//structures//institutions that are highly correlated to macroeconomics or commodities that are at my fingertips? (e.g I don't know if interest rate swaps desk is relevant ).

Well that's it I guess, thank you for reading me pals!

Good evening
