Can you go from Corp Finance at F500 to VC? or would it be better to do operations within a company?

Lolz.
In my 2 years working with VCs, I got a pretty good sense of the VC culture. I think those guys would look down on any corporate role, unless it is a company like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc, or unless you leveraged your corporate experience to start your own company later on.
The way I see it, the things VC's value most are:
1) Significant startup experience (worked at a famous startup, started your own and sold it, etc)
2) Computer science degrees and Science PhDs
3) MBAs from Stanford and HBS
Just my 2 cents though.
Nah its cool. I was just wondering. Im in the tech dept researching diff technologies and they told me if i do good work they are going to introduce me to the HR manager and then I can work in any department i want. Its a stretch, since im an econ major and dont understand much technology, like the science behind it, but they are keeping me around because i do understand feasibility and whether they should implement it or not. I am trying to figure out what role would be best so that I can parachute into VC in about 5 years.
