VC Year end bonus
Wondering if anyone could give some advice to a first year analyst regarding what to expect as a performance bonus.
I will be given the chance to negotiate, but I dont want to come out as too greedy, nor too cheap.
As context, there are less than ten people working at the firm, and we had a good (but not great) year.
Thanks for the tips
What's your base? Im also in VC and firm has indicated 50-100% of base as bonus
Nice! My base is 80k plus some bonus on success fees.
What's a success fee?
If we have succesful exits or secondary sales, the firm distributes a 1%-2% of the earnings to the team.
wow that's unreal
Emerging markets baby
A great year for me but a poor one for the firm (no thanks to the pandemic). So looks like bonus is shaping up to be about 50% base.
What's your base? Mine is $85k in a tier 1.5 city (Boston/Chicago), looking to compare
