PWM to S&T? Is it possible?
I've applied to hundreds of jobs and I've only heard back from from a small local wealth management firm (very small, just over $2m AUM) for an unpaid internship I can do part-time during the semester. I am going to take it, if nothing else it's experience. But would it be possible to transition to other finance roles (namely S&T or AM) since the primary function of my internship will be assisting in portfolio management?
