2nd round ML Interview Friday - what can I expect?

Hey all,

I'm going to NY for a second round with Merrill this Friday. It says two 30 minute interviews, which is kind of short. Anybody know what I can expect in terms of a behavioral/technical question mix, how technical, anything ML likes to do, etc..

Anything at all would help.

My 2nd rounds seem to have had a different structure than yours will. For 2nd rounds at ML IBD, they had us list our top 3 groups within ibd. We then had 3 interviews with each of the groups (so 9 in total). They were mainly behavioral, but because we had indicated that we were interested in those particular groups the interviewers expected us to know a bare minimum about the industry or the product that the group covered and to be able to discuss a recent happening in that industry. Some 2 on 1 interviews, anyone from an analyst to vp.

I had some same interview a couple of weeks ago. It was mostly behaviorial. My first one had a guesstimate in the middle which I thought was unusual. Anyway, it's not very technical. So be sure to know your resume, your motivation, and talk with energy. Gl.
