Accenture Consulting Analyst vs. Intel Security (McAfee) Finance Analyst
Hi fellow WSOers,
What's your opinion on an Accenture Consulting (not Strategy) Analyst role vs. A role in corporate finance with Intel Security, which will become a standalone company (new McAfee - 51% stake from TPG Capital and 49% stake from Intel) in 2017?
I have offers from both. Graduated from a non-target, regionally + AACSB accredited business undergrad with a 3.25 GPA.
What would be the better option as far as getting into a Top 20 B-school?
How great is the differential in pay?
Do entry level Consulting Analysts at Accenture travel M-Th? Any idea how terrible the work-life balance is at Accenture?
I'd imagine work-life balance at Intel/McAfee would be 45-50 hours/week, as it's tech.
Simply trying to figure out which role will better align me for success in the future. In 6-7 years, I'd like to look back and be proud of how much I've accomplished (aka looking toward working quickly toward high compensation).
Thanks in advance!
