Advisory Work - Leverage Finance
Hi,
Quick question to people currently working in leverage finance.
What type of advisory work do you do?
When you're left leading on an LBO, I assume the Lev fin team just takes on additional tasks such as building the lenders presentation, RAP and such.
But is there a financial advisory aspect as well? or would that just be handled by the respective industry/M&A team?

The "advisory" work will focus on capital structure, executing the debt transaction(s) used to fund the LBO, and placing the deal with investors. LevFin will think through appropriate leverage for the company, how to tranche out the capital structure, impact on credit ratings, etc.
