Are there service dogs on Wall Street?

Ok random ass question:

Are there people with service dogs on Wall Street? Like blind guide dogs, PTSD dogs, diabetes dogs, etc. They fall under ADA and are allowed in public spaces. I am assuming they'd be allowed in company buildings too, under discrimination laws.

I don't think I've ever heard of this happening, though. Has anyone ever seen one?

Hey, I can't directly answer about service dogs, but I know my firm (BB) is very accommodating with disabilities, and I'd bet all the large shops are. Smaller ones may lack the resources, but in my building, we have a few wheelchair users and a couple employees devoted to ergonomics (that team has a bit of power, and can assign seats/computers/resources in our open-seating office with really no MD input).

I'd imagine that blind/deaf finance workers are rare, though, at least in FO/MO--this job is huge on communicating, and anything that gets in the way makes success (or considering it as a viable career) less likely.
