Background check is taking so long for a pwm internship.
I sent HR all my forms and documents last wednesday, and they said that they will be done in a week. But today I called HR today and no body picked up the phone. Nothing. I haven't heard anything from them since last week and I don't know what is going on. Is it normal for background checks to take this long??

Chill out. You will be fine. They might be calling your previous companies to confirm your resume.
99% of the time when you pass a background check you don't hear anything back because there's nothing to say. No news is good news with these things.
Stop thinking about everything you've done wrong in your life since high school, unless, you know, you have something to worry about.
